AVC 204 ANIMATION: Principles of Animation + Stop-Motion
This hands-on course introduces stop-motion animation techniques using physical materials, objects, and fabricated characters. Students explore frame-by-frame animation principles, lighting for miniature sets, camera control, and motion continuity. Projects may include puppet and object animation, as well as experimental hybrid approaches. Emphasis is placed on tactile storytelling, material exploration, and production discipline.
