AVC 106 Digital Media in Motion

This foundation course introduces core concepts, tools, and workflows in digital media. Students create digital media using video, motion, audio, and interactive projects with professional software and platforms. They build skills in visual storytelling, scripting, storyboarding, and prototyping, and examine digital media production in creative and professional contexts. The course emphasizes design thinking, audience experience, ethical considerations, and industry-informed practices. It also introduces AI-assisted tools and examines their impact on authorship and originality. The course prepares students for further study in digital and media-based coursework.
