AVC 102 Design Foundation: Color Theory + Composition
This course introduces the foundational elements and principles of art and design, including space, line, shape, value, texture, color, and composition. Students engage in hands-on projects that explore design concepts in two-dimensional and three-dimensional formats relevant to multiple creative disciplines, including fine art, animation, and cinema/video. Emphasis is placed on visual problem-solving and basic design literacy. This course prepares students for upper-level courses in specialization tracks.
