TRS 230 Foundations of ASL–English Translation II

This course introduces methods for analyzing ASL and English texts prior to translation. Students will apply linguistic and text analysis frameworks to identify themes, registers, and stylistic features. Through systematic study of content, function, and affect, students will strengthen their ability to make informed translation choices.
