Minor in Business Administration

The Business Administration program provides a foundation in business administration to prepare students for entry-level management positions in either the private or public sector. Students can design their own areas of specialization from the electives offered within the department.

Requirements for a Minor in Business Administration

The minor in business administration consists of a minimum of 15 credit hours and selection of a field of concentration from among Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, International and Entrepreneurship. Students must take BUS 101 plus the introductory course(s) for their field of concentration, and at least two advanced (300- or 400-level) courses in the concentration.

For Accounting majors, the 15 credit hours must all be advanced courses in the concentration.

The specific course of study must be determined in consultation with the student's faculty advisor in the Department of Business.
