PST 323 ASLPI Evaluator Training: Rating, Interviewing, and Applied Practices (3 credits)
This hybrid course enhances ASL professionals' skills in evaluating, rating, and conducting interviews. The training integrates
hands-on, real-world practice with theoretical learning, with mentorship provided by experienced evaluators within the ASL
Proficiency Interview (ASLPI) unit. Participants will engage in online self-paced modules and practical applications, contributing to
local and national assessments for Gallaudet University’s Bilingual Evaluation, Testing, and Assessment Center.
Prerequisite
Bachelor's Degree; minimum ASLPI score of 4.0; instructor permission.
