ENG 50 English Language Study: Intensive Reading Skills
The emphasis in this course will be on the development and reinforcement of English grammar and vocabulary skills through reading. A grade of IP (In Progress) may be given to any student who has made satisfactory progress but who has not satisfied the requirements for entry into the next level. The requirement for entry into the next level of English is based on the end-of-semester placement test. In order to qualify to take the placement test, students must receive a passing grade in the course, or with permission of the chair.
Corequisite
ENG 70 will be required first-time students; it will be optional for retakers and PST students.
