AVC 403 Senior Lab II + Exhibition
This course serves as the culminating Senior Thesis experience. Students finalize their approved body of work and refine their artist/designer statement to clearly express their conceptual framework, process, and professional direction. Students complete a professional portfolio, including documentation of year-round completed work and a finalized personal website appropriate for graduate study, residencies, freelance practice, or industry employment. Emphasis is placed on public presentation and professional standards. Students deliver a thesis presentation and, in partnership with a gallery, collaboratively plan, install, and operate the Senior Exhibition, gaining hands-on experience in exhibition design, promotion, and event coordination.
