SLA 122 Classifiers I

This course focuses on application and expansion of depiction (also known as classifiers). Students learn how to create visual representations by understanding the rules for depictions used in various contexts. Emphasizing how the signer's perspective influences the selection of representations of an entity or event through role shifting, character developments, classifiers, classifier predicate, and space to make certain entities or events visible is an important aspect of visual conceptualization of ASL.
